After an absolutely terrible experience with Geico, Sonja helped me switch all of my policies (auto, renters, motorcycle, etc.) to State Farm while also providing better rates! "I’ve beeen with State Farms for a few years but recently I canceled my car insurance with them because I wanted a cheaper insurance but decided to look into their Home Insurance at least. On Jan 14th around that time in 2025 I was going to cancel my life insurance but their agent Michele Samson convinced me to keep the life insurance and surprised me with a claim being made a few years ago on a home. She was able to give me information on the cost, date and that it was for damages but claimed she couldn’t give me any other information. But stated “ If I were you I would want to know “ I called a few times trying to get information from Michele who claimed she couldn’t give me any more information. So I reached out to my ex who at the time shared the same policy with me even though the claim was made out in my name. So my ex reached out and for some reason all of a sudden I get an email from Michele about my claim being made by another insurance company to State Farm which is suspicious that they didn’t look farther into it at the time. But what’s surprising is all of a this point I don’t feel comfortable working with a shady company who I had to pry information out of, I called Jan 21st 2025 to cancel my life insurance with them and also find out why I had such a hard time getting Michele to do her job who I was also on the phone with. She became defensive and started over talking me while I was still talking and and said “ I went above and beyond “ No you were covering your backside because I got someone else involved to make sure you were doing your job, that’s a huge difference . This woman Michele Sampson owned the fact I called a couple of times clearly showing I’m trying to gather more information but it took my ex to reach out once for you to actually help me and then have the ordacity to over talk me and claim you were going above and beyond but only after ther fact. I rather pay more to a company I can trust than shady people who won’t even own up to not doing their job to their fullest capacity. Michele Sampson was Arrogant,insensitive and put more effort in keeping me with my life insurance than helping me when I had a real issue. If my ex hasn’t gotten involved I would have never received that vital information that it was another insurance company that was involved. The picture is shown after the fact that my ex go involved and a email was sent to both of us. There are biases in that office. How is it that Michele Sampson has a Supervisor named Sonia and has known her for over 20 years. It doesn’t matter if they mess up because they all stick together. I talked to Michele’s supervisor Sonia and all she was concerned about was me keeping the policy and indirectly standing by Michele’s behavior because she’s known her for years even though she’s still learning the business. Sonia made it very clear there was no conversation and that it was out of character for Michele, basically saying she believed Michele over me. Yes because I decided to make up adding she went above and beyond. If you want a company that holds their people accountable do not go to the office of Billy Reece. Everyone seems nice when they want something people, hello. Yeah Michele seemed nice in the beginning because she wanted me to keep my life insurance but the minute an issue arose behavior changed. You really want to know what these people truly care about have an issue arise and see how they deal with it and make sure you have back up. These people are nice because of money. Do not let them fool you. The only thing they’re passionate about is their commissions people. Don’t be deceived. This is a follow up to Billy Reese’s reply. He is not sorry. I messaged him and complained about Michele and he defended her saying he knew her for a very long time, basically he belied her over me … yet again bias within these company’s who hire from within, which means theirs no accountability just false lies and public apologies."
